    The Green Schools Conference & Expo is the only national event to bring together all the players involved in making green schools a reality: people who lead, operate, build and teach in U.S. schools. Two days of programming offer inspiring keynote speakers, informative workshops and breakout sessions and the chance to network with colleagues from across the country. The annual education and networking event, hosted by USGBC Colorado and organized in partnership with volunteers from the Green Schools Initiative, provides a unique opportunity to discuss how we can to create better learning environments for students. This year's Summit theme is "Making Green Schools Add Up" and programming will focus on resource efficiency in schools.

    Spreadsheet showing historical utility data for some of CASDEM's member school districts The CASDEM Energy Utilization Index spreadsheet for FY 2014 has been updated to now include columns to add "grid" electricity consumed, "PV" electricity consumed/generated as well as other electricity. These electricity values combine into total electricity consumption and then int0 the kBtu/SF/Yr calculations. Please take a few moments to update your districts data, through FY 2014.
